Contact Ray once you have your A-20 or X-12 deer tag. The fee is just $300 per person. Parties are limited to six. The hunting begins in the early morning and will continue all day. The California Department of Fish and Game has classified local X-12 Zone deer tags as premium because they are all awarded every year in a June drawing. To enter the drawing, buy a hunting license and a first-deer tag application. It is important that you meet the early June deadline. More information is available from the DFG website. Since this country is remote and the fall weather can be unpredictable, it is suggested by the Mono County Search and Rescue Team that you don't hunt this region alone unless your a seasoned survivalist.
